![]() The expanding and contracting effects of temp of glass? Who knows. Never in all my years have I ever cracked a windshield and this one seemed to crack cause I live in CA and I cycled A/C often. Oh!! BUYER BEWARE! Their front windshields are GARBAGE! Mine spontaneously cracked! I couldn’t believe it. Jesus almighty help me, do they think we’re all 17 year old learners permits? So annoying. Downside? The fucking horrendous door ajar and seatbelt chime. I could really enjoy classical music on the highway windows down. Eyesight is excellent! H/K sound system was excellent. While I had the ‘22 Outback in the limited trim, the fuel economy was decent mid-20’s, the handling was excellent near miss cause some asshole pulled out in front of me at 45mph, and the ride was quiet and smooth. Not as much power for mountain uphills and hwy driving. RAV4 XSE: fantastic gas mileage, great style (love how it looks), better visibility IMO, much better infotainment/climate control, Toyota's reputation on good reliability. Thumbs down on infotainment/climate control interface. OB-Onyx: Great power and comfort, will perform well on long trips/mountain driving. (I've posted a similar question to the RAV4 group to get both perspectives.) I really like them both and am having a hard time deciding so any useful insight would be helpful. I've test driven both several times (2021 OB Onyx, 2021 RAV4 hybrid LE). I also want a car that is reliable for the long haul. I want an AWD SUV that is good in bad weather, mountain roads (live in Colorado) and on long trips but will be driven day-to-day in town. I'm trying to decide between buying a new OB Onyx XT and a Rav4 XSE hybrid (HEV).
